Just Peachy (12 Weeks)

Lost of mixed reviews on this, but tomorrow I start my 13th week of pregnancy... if you ask me... I belive that means I am hitting that second trimester! I'm very excited about this! woke up feeling great this morning! I'm actually about to give my house a well needed scrub down because the last seven weeks I have basically lived on the couch!

Two very beautiful little gilrs were born this past week. Hubby's cousin had a 10lbs girl (Scarlett) on monday, and my cousin had the beautiful Emma Rose yesterday (8lbs 1oz). I am praying baby bink is no more than 7lbs5oz....  I actually have a lot of predictions on bink....

11 weeks (It's Plum CRAZY!)

Oh My! growing so fast now! I practically live my life week by week just for the pictures. I am sure that when I really start showing, and my belly isn't changing size throughout the day, I will actually start to take pictures with my whole face! in all of these, you honestly don't want to see what I look like from the waist up! talk about bed head! hehe. I have been taking every picture at the same time every Thursday morning. trying to keep everything accurate. as of right now I have put on 1 whole pound, my Morning sickness is starting to subside, and my pants feel snug around the abdomen (mostly when I am sitting)

Hubby man says he can tell I am starting to show (just a little) I don't really see it yet... I can't wait for that day though! :)

I have been getting things ready for my gender reveal party. I really can't wait! in just 5-6 weeks I will know what my sweet baby is going to be! :)

8,9,10 weeks

I was 8 weeks, sill sick and still 0 pounds gained. dr. appt. went great. I had a pelvic exam and urine pregnancy test. he answered all my questions

Still no weight gain, still fighting morning sickness. I was still dying to know if it was twins or not. I have still been fighting morning sickness and fatigue. :( not my favorite. counting down the days to that second trimester!

this Saturday or town had a baby expo. all the baby related organizations and such got together and handed out information and tons of free stuff! I went with my mom and had such an amazing time!

one of the last booths we came to happened to be an ultra sound clinic. my mom just happened to notice, they were giving ultrasounds for only ten dollars! such an amazing deal! I downed a bottle of water and got in line.  was sad y sweet husband wasn't there, but I just couldn't wait any longer! :)

my baby's first picture! They couldn't hear a heart beat yet, but you could see it beating away. I was so happy, I cried. that was the single most amazing moment of my life. :)

Wednesday I had another ultrasound scheduled at another local clinic. this one hubby man was actually going to see :)

Heart Rate was 171! very strong and very healthy! hubby was amazed, and I was so happy! my next ultrasound isn't until 20 weeks! that will be forever! I miss seeing my little baby already. the tech said I was measuring nearly a week ahead, but she didn't recommend changing my due date. and I am starting t plan my gender reveal party :) I really feel like we have a baby girl, but would not be sad if there was a sweet little boy in there. all I ask is for a healthy baby.

Wow, can you say bloat!? so six weeks on the dot, I developed morning sickness... I have gotten back to my starting weight (according to my scale this morning) 'm keeping a food journal this week so I can really focus on what I am eating and how much nutrients my baby is really getting, I'm very happy to be back to where I started, I was worried with the morning sickness being so bad I would loose more weight, but the pregnancy is still young. I also picked up a composition book, hubby and I are going to start writing to baby for him or her to have when they grow up. :)
I don't have any motivation to do anything other than sleep or sit... and if I sit too long then try to get up I get sick. bleh. it's been a rough week, I'm hoping this passes very soon.

Week 5 (Happy Fourth!)

So this weekend got a little crazy. It was nice to be over that stupid virus though! :) fourth of July was seriously amazing! The fireworks were beautiful, an the company was even better. We spent the fourth at my mom's for some yummy brisket! then came home for our community fireworks show!



On Friday after work, hubby man, and I drove up to the DFW area to spend time with my amazing cousins. We all went to six flags. It was very hot! I couldn't ride any rides (except the river rapids!) but I enjoyed all the company. :) I wish I could see all of my cousins more than once or twice a year, but now with Facebook and text Messaging. Keeping in touch is a lot easier.

I got my doctor appointment scheduled for July 30th. I will be 8 1/2 weeks so I am hoping for at least being able to hear the heart beat! :)

Week 4

So, this weekend I have spent the entire two and a half days sitting on my couch. This was not because I am lazy and have no life... Thursday night about ten p.m. I started to get very sick to my stomach. I put it off as morning sickness but since I was only 4 weeks I thought that was just a tad bit early. As the night went on I got zero sleep. It was miserable! Friday morning I took my temp. It was 100.0! This really freaked me out. I had heard when you are pregnant, you shouldn't let your temp get above 101.1... Needless to say, I was starting to worry it was more than a common case of morning sickness. I decided to go to work, (maybe it wasn't in my head)Fridays are normally our busiest day. This day however, we were so slow! It's a very good thing. My lower back started to hurt so bad. I was afraid it was my kidneys from being dehydrated. I had lost 4 whole pounds over night. I called my doctor and made an apt. They confirmed my suspision. I had a stomach virus. Gave me some zofran, and started me on tylonoel to get my fever down. I am feeling much better now, but after three long days of camping in my couch, I am ready for work tomorrow! I need interaction with people. It has been a very eventful weekend so far, I look forward to making my first doctors apt tomorrow! :) I'm so ready to hear my little bean's heart beat!

After one month of trying, we are beyond excited!

I found out Friday, I am only 3weeks and 3 days. I can't wait to go on this amazing jorney with the love of my life! since I found out on a Friday, my OB was closed. I will be calling first thing tomorrow to make myself an appt. and I will keep everyone posted on this amazing journey in my life!



I'm Back!

Sorry I have been gone so long! I truly missed writing! I have been very busy trying to get my home fully ready. We painted out master bedroom, and put in a new fan. Lots of birthdays for nieces, travel for family.... Summer is so busy!

Anti Social

Sorry I have been so anti-social here lately. My inspiration and motivation to do nearly anything has been so low. I'm always tried and busy, just sort of 'blah'

Mothers day was so great! I had an amazing time with my mom. She truly is my world and I couldn't picture my life without her <3
My arm finally healed! Yay! it took it long enough. Life has been good overall. Father-in-law got moved in, we put in a basket ball goal.... so many changes! one night we stayed up and played with a light up Frisbee well after dark.

I hope to update everyone more soon. I'm sure I will find the inspiration to write again! :)

Can You Say Ouch?!

So like I said before, Friday at work I stepped on a nail, it went through my shoe and poked my foot, barely enough to break the skin, but enough to make me get a tetanus shot....

Monday: for lunch I left work and got myself a shot. (boo!) No big deal, other than my normal 'dont let Sonja pass out' precautions, I left and went about my day with a slightly sore arm. (normal so far, right?) Wrong!
Tuesday: I wake up with a dime size red spot on my arm. I didn't freak out yet because I was still assuming this was normal for this type of shot. By lunch it was so sore I could hardly move my right arm, and the entire thing had swollen to the size of a half dollar. my right arm was forming hives and it had a huge not right in the middle! I called my Dr. and took a lot of benadryl. By the time I went to sleep Tuesday night, it had grown to silver dollar size.
Wednesday: You know that saying, 'It doesn't hurt until you look at it.'? well I woke up with a still slightly sore arm but assumed it was better... the benadryl had to of helped some.... Or so I though. I look in the mirror while I was getting ready and the think was full of golf ball size! with a knot the size of a quarter and the heat of a sever sun burn! oh, brother! the nail in the foot hurt for a total of thirty minutes.... Three days, two doctors visits, two shots (one to help with the swelling and other strange reaction this tetanus shot gave me), and a strong antibiotic later. I am sitting here with a red dot on my arm the size of a tennis ball.

That Crazy Kind of Weekend....

First I'd like to say to all my followers, friends, co-workers, family and so on. Sorry I only update once a week... I feel like my week days are too 'going through the motions' and then everything happens at once on the weekends.

All this week my poor babies had been acting sick. They would go back and forth so Friday I got them both a vet apt. I got to drive them to work with me for an hour and show them off before leaving to the vet. Turns out everything is OK and they just need to finish a round on some meds and get a little better.

After a long week of trying to fight it, I finally had to give my car of nearly seven years up :(. I have had 'trooper' since I was 16 and I was determined to drive him until he just couldn't go anymore.... That day came.... but I am now a very proud owner of a brand new 2012 Chevy Cruz! I spent the entire afternoon in my car driving it around town! I love it!

After getting settled in with my new ride, I headed off to a baby shower. It was so much fun! and did not help my baby fever at all... (it's almost here though!!) such cute decorations done by my very creative sister-in-law and Haley got some great gifts!

Today was the amazing trip to the Zoo! I am beyond wore out, but we had such an amazing time with the family. Watching my niece's face when she saw all the animals was priceless! I can't wait to take her back very soon!

In other news, Friday after work, I was walking back to my can and landed on a rusty nail! it's went straight through my shoe! (can you say ouch?!) luckily it just poked my foot and the shoe caught most of the stick. Regardless, my happy butt will be going to the Dr. on Monday for a tetanus shot! (boo!)
